goofy "doctors", outside and Sponge bath!

Well today was a better day.  Jason's fever is now down to 35.8 which is much better.  He looks better.  I helped him shave and wash and that must have been hard for him.  He isn't allowed to shower for 3 weeks so he better get used to it.  He felt lots better after that.  He is still only on tylenol and antibiotics.  One of the cultures came back positive for infection but they don't know what yet.  Apparently they grow it for 4 days. Dr. Bashir came in and said they have put him on 2 new antibiotics.  ( I will post later tonite what they are for you christina, I forgot the paper at the hospital)  He also wants him up and walking alot.  Nic took him for a walk and Jamie and Liz helped decorate his room for Canada day!  He had Hemo at 5:30 and wore his big hat down there.  The nurses love him.  He asked for the hydromorph before hemo cause he said he needed it.  My kids are on the way with my mom tonite so that should be interesting.  He says he doesn't want them here but I think now that we have to stay another week it is time.

Nic and Rob came and watched the hemo hook up and Nic was enthrauled by the pump and how it all worked.  Sue didn't want to watch so she waited in the hall but found her own little miracle.  She met a pastor who had been looking for 3 years for someone she knew!  So he gave her a card and she will deliver it!  Jason's friends Liz and Jamie are great fun!  They went and stole some blue hats and we took pictures and they drew all over his feet cause they thought it would be funny cause he cant shower it off.  All in all it was a good day.  J is smiling at times and talking.  He has lost his appetite  but hopefully that will return.  We will talk to the Dr. about that.
